About the Role
We're looking for a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to help us build and grow our online presence. You'll be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that engage our gaming community, showcase our product features, and drive brand awareness across multiple platforms.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies across platforms (Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.)
- Create engaging content including graphics, videos, and written posts that align with GCast's brand voice
- Manage day-to-day social media activities including posting, community engagement, and responding to comments
- Monitor social media trends and gaming industry news to identify content opportunities
- Collaborate with the team to plan and execute social media campaigns for product launches and events
- Track and analyze social media metrics to measure performance and optimize strategies
- Build relationships with gaming influencers and content creators
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in social media management, preferably in gaming or tech
- Strong understanding of gaming culture and social media trends
- Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Creative mindset with an eye for visual design
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Passion for mobile gaming and emerging technologies
- Experience with content creation tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building communities around gaming products
- Knowledge of video editing and graphic design
- Existing network of gaming influencers or content creators
- Experience with A/B testing and data-driven content optimization
